Getting a head start with your vacation trip planner is the key to saving money and squeezing every last drop of enjoyment from your Hilton Head vacation. This page is a work sheet designed to help you do just that.

Step 1 -- Schedule Events: Think of the following schedule as your personalized vacation planner. Fill in each 2-hour block with an activity or attraction. This will be an enjoyable task as you weigh one option against another and get everything in the sequence that is just right for you and your family. Consider all your options:

Use this handy map of Hilton Head as a reference point for planning contiguous events. You will save a lot of travel time as you identify your favorite locations and events on the map.

As you know, the Island is shaped like a giant foot. The 1) toe is Sea Pines; the 2) bottom arch or sole is Palmetto Dunes, Shipyard, and Forest Beach; the heel is 3) Middle Beach, The Hilton Head Airport, and Port Royal; and the 4) ankle extends from Spanish Wells to Hilton Head Plantation. Look for these four identifiers associated with all of our recommended providers: toe(t), sole(s), heel(h), ankle(a).

Step 2 -- Select Vendors: Once you’ve completed your trip planner schedule you are ready to select specific vendors and providers, where appropriate. Note that we are not listing every single provider in every single category on the Island. That would simply overwhelm you with choices. Too many choices is almost as bad as no choices at all.
